Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients scheduled for elective surgery 2)ASA I and II 3)Normal cardiorespiratory function

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Patients undergoing procedures in which nasal intubation is needed. 2)History of significant cardiorespiratory illness. 3) Reported with nasal obstruction . 4) With suspected difficult intubation

-The duration of safe apnoea (time for sPO2 to drop to 92% or securing the airway ) -Whether intervention by temporary mask ventilation is required -Haemodynamic parameter it-the lowest observed value in pulse oxymetry during airway placement .Timepoint: Heart rate , Mean arterial pressure , intubation time and desaturation time is noted at every 1 minute interval from 0 to 6 minutes
