Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA 1 and 2 patients. 2.patients scheduled for ctvs and general surgery who require central venous catheter for perioperative management.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.known carotid aretery pathologies. 2.gross aspect of right aspect of neck. 3.patients with altered coagulation ,arrhythmias,pacemaker in situ.
