Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: full term pregnant patients posted for LSCS and non pregnant females posted for gynaec surgeries like tuboplasty,hysterectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Absolute contra indication for spinal anaesthesia like skin infections, spine abnormalities like kyphosis, scoliosis, patients on anti coagulant therapy, past history of spine surgeries , patient allergic to local anaesthetics

Ultrasonography is a safe reliable noninvasive reproducible method for preanesthetic estimation of the Tuffiers line in pregnant woman.Timepoint: 3 months
