Intervention1: Virtual training of DMHP staff using ECHO model: The DMHP staff will receive training and tele-mentoring with respect to identification, screening and management of Alcohol Use Disorder

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients meeting the criteria for Alcohol Use Disorders

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with AUDIT score less than 8 Subjects not meeting the criteria for Alcohol Use Disorders Subjects who do not or cannot give consent

MeasureTime frame
1. 30% Increase number of identification of Cases of Alcohol Use Disorders at DMHP ECHO (intervention group) compared to that of  DMHP SAU (control group) 2. Screen positive cases (AUDIT more than 8) :Decrease in AUDIT score of less than 8  and mean daily alcohol consumption in the past 14 days immediately preceding the 3 month outcome assessmentTimepoint: Baseline 3 months 6 months 9 months 12 months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. 30% Increased access to care, prescribed medicines, decrease in referral, increase in treatment compliance 2. 30% Increase in Health professionals- knowledge, attitudes/empathy, skills, opinions, intentions, motivation, adherence to best practice care, improvement in professional satisfaction and increase level of participation in tele-ECHO sessions 3. Changes in disability and dysfunction reported by the patients as recorded by QOL Bref during three month outcome assessmentsTimepoint: Baseline 3 months 6 months 9 months 12 months
