Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with minimum complement of 20 teeth. Subjects who are diagnosed with the presence of interproximal probing pocket depth (PPD/CAL) of >= 5mm after phase 1 therapy in an asymptomatic tooth.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who had undergone any periodontal treatment in the past 6 months. Subjects diagnosed with Aggressive periodontitis Subjects who are smokers. Subjects who have received antibiotics/ anti-inflammatory drugs/ steroids in past 6 months. Pregnant and lactating women. Subjects with history of cardiac diseases, malignancy or any other inflammatory disorders.
