Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with carcinoma of breast who are planned for modified radical mastectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of prior breast surgery, breast tuberculosis, breast injuries 2. Prior involvement in other study. 3. Pregnancy and lactation. 4. Patients not able to understand the nature of the study and not giving consent

1. Depth of ducto lobular breast tissue from overlying skin in different quadrants of breast by sonography (premammary fascia/junction of subcutaneous fat with large fat 2. Postoperative histological confirmation of the depth of the TDLUs after mastectomy along with assessment of the level of pre-mammary fascia.Timepoint: Post operative day 10

a. To find out the rate and specify the areas of flap necrosis. b. To calculate the percentage of clearance of TDLUs after dissecting in the plane of pre- mammary fascia. c. To find out the rate of flap necrosis in specific groups: obesity and post neo adjuvant radiation.Timepoint: 1 and half years
