Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -All patients undergoing Total Knee Replacement (TKR) surgery under Dept. of Orthopedics unit V in kasturba medical college manipal. -All patient giving consent for trial and follow up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing revision surgery 2.Patients with severe deformity in which bony and anatomical landmarks are difficult to define 3.Patients in whom stem extension/ augments are used. 4.Patients who had proximal tibia fracture previously 5.Patients who had pre existing patellar maltracking/ underwent formal lateral release intra-operatively 6. Patients who do not give consent
