Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Physical status with ASA I and II 2 Age 20 â??70 years 3 Patients undergoing elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Emergency surgeries 2 Known allergy to any Local anesthetics 3 Morbid obesity 4 Substance abuse 5 Heart blocks, Renal and Hepatic dysfunction.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1 Intensity of pain will be assessed on a 11 point NRS scale upto 24 hours after surgery every fourth hourly. 2 Hemodynamic responses (pulse rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation) will be assessed intraoperatively. 3 Consumption of analgesics other than routinely prescribed drugs in the intensive care unit. Timepoint: induction of anesthesia till discharge
