Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients scheduled to undergo elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy with Age 18-65 ASA 1 or 2 Body Mass Index between 18 to 35 kg/m2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Preexisting coagulation disorders. Morbid obesity ( >35 kg/m2) Local infection at the site of injection Allergy to levobupivacaine Chronic pain syndrome Patients who received any analgesia 24hours prior to surgery

MeasureTime frame
To compare the duration of analgesia from the time of administration of block to the time of first rescue analgesia and quality of analgesia by VAS score. The above parameters will be assessed at following intervals 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1hour, 1.5 hours, 2hours, 4hours and 6hours after procedureTimepoint: Parameters are assessed at interval gap of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1hour, 1.5 hours, 2hours, 4hours and 6hours after procedure

To study the hemodynamics between two groups. 1.Heart rate 2.Blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) 3.Mean arterial pressure 4.Saturation The above parameters will be studied at following intervals 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1hour, 1.5 hours, 2hours, 4hours and 6hours after procedure To observe the adverse effects of the drug Hypotension Nausea and vomitingTimepoint: 15,30minutes,1hour,2hour,4hours and 6hours
