Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Resident of the Field Practice area,Rural Health Training Centre,Vedapatti Mild Anemia (hb:10gms% to less than 12 gms%)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnancy any time during the trial period, Known case of abnormal Uterine Bleeding, Anemia due to causes other than Iron deficiency, Person with Acid Peptic disease,liver disorder and Uric acid diseases,Cu T users,Some one on treatment for anemia, those who will be out of station for next three months, those who had blood transfusion recently
