Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| to compare functional neurological outcome using modified Rankin scale score of 0-3 as good neurological outcome in patients undergoing decompressive craniectomy for supratentorial acute ischemic infarct using propofol total intravenous anesthesia or sevoflurane based balanced anesthesiaTimepoint: at discharge from hospital and at three months from stroke onset | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| to compare intraoperative brain relaxation in patients undergoing decompressive craniectomy for supratentorial acute ischemic infarct using propofol total intravenous anesthesia or sevoflurane based balanced anesthesiaTimepoint: will be compared intraoperatively;to compare systemic and intracranial pressure dynamics in patients undergoing decompressive craniectomy for supratentorial acute ischemic infarct using propofol total intravenous anesthesia or sevoflurane based balanced anesthesiaTimepoint: will be compared intraoperatively | — |
