Intervention1: Minocycline: 2% Minocycline Gel application after scaling and root planing in the other quadrant.The gel application will be repeated at two and four weeks after scaling and root planin

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with probing depth of greater than 4mm Patients suffering from chronic periodontitis without any medical history. No history of smoking No periodontal treatment within the previous 6 month

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant ladies, lactating mothers were excluded from the study. Patients on anti-inflammatory and steroid therapy within the last three months. History of any systemic diseases. Use of hormonal contraceptives.
