Intervention1: Measurement of muscle thickness in cm of transversus abdomninis, external oblique & internal oblique muscle.: Ultrasonography Machine via a radiologist. Time duration will be 20 minutes

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria for asympomatic patients i. BMI : 18.5 â?? 23 ii. Both the genders iii. Age: 20 â?? 50(+-5) years. iv. No H/O of low back pain in the last 12 months. 4.1.5 Inclusion Criteria. i. LBP with or without referred pain (of a non â?? radicular nature) for at least 3 months not serious enough to cause absence from work. ii. Duration of Pain of at least 4 â?? 6 weeks. iii. Average Pain Intensity on NRS >3 to iv. Willingness to comply with study protocol. 4.1.5 Inclusion Criteria. i. LBP with or without referred pain (of a non â?? radicular nature) for at least 3 months not serious enough to cause absence from work. ii. Duration of Pain of at least 4 â?? 6 weeks. iii. Average Pain Intensity on NRS >3 to iv. Willingness to comply with study protocol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: asymptomatic paients: i. BMI > 25 ii. Multiparous females. iii. Recent surgery (abdominal wall, spine) in the past 2 years. iv. Gravid uterus (pre-screened by radiologist). v. Chronic debilitating diseases , widespread neurological diseases, any fracture, dislocation, tumour of abdominal contents, spine or pelvis. vi. Acute Urinary Tract Infection , Menstruating females (pain) vii. Subjects unable to tolerate the test positions (supine, hook lying). exclusion criteria for symptomatic patients of low back pain: i. Pain Duration of more than 3 months i.e. persistent LBP, SLR Test positive 30 â?? 70 degrees( radicular) ii. Persistent Severe Pain Intensity on NRS >8/10, site of pain distal to hip. iii. Neurological symptoms â?? progressive motor/ sensory loss,diminished reflexes, recent urinary retention or overflow incontinence. iv. Non Mechanical cause of LBP â?? tumor , spinal instability (spondylolisthesis), structural deformity (scoliosis), systemic inflammatory disease(ankylosing spondylosis), widespread neurological diseases. v. Recent invasive procedure(abdominal wall, thorax,spine) in the past 2 years. vi. Gravid uterus (prescreened by a radiologist), vii. Subjects unable to tolerate test positions (hook lying, supine lying).
