Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinically diagnosed patients with multiple ( 2 or more) lesions of Molluscum contagiosum with no history of topical or systemic therapy taken for current lesions and are willing for follow up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with a past history of allergic response to MMR or any other vaccine. 2. Patients with acute febrile illness or bacterial infections. 3. Patients with immunosuppression, HIV infection, Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C infection. 4. Patients with only anogenital lesions. 5. Pregnant or lactating women. 6. Patients having a history of asthma, allergic skin disorders or convulsions.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Resolution of the lesions based on size, number and photographic comparisonTimepoint: Every 2 weeks for first 8 weeks, then monthly till end of 6 months.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To study side effects of intralesional MMR therapy. To find recurrence rate post treatment with intralesional MMR.Timepoint: Every 2 weeks for first 8 weeks, then monthly till end of 6 months.
