Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Age 1-40 years at the time of enrolment. 2)Informed consent form signed by either of the parents in case of children or by the participant in case of adults. Assent given by the subject aged between 07-17 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Known or suspected congenital or acquired immunodeficiency. 2)Documented acute Hepatitis A infection (IgM anti- HAV positive with or without raised LFT parameters). 3)Person with serious illness at the time of enrolment or on any critical treatment like chemotherapy, immuno-modulating agents or blood transfusion program etc. 4)H/o hepatitis A vaccination. 5)Children in care – institutions or orphanages

Children and adults having IgG anti-HAV antibody positive across various age groups.Timepoint: 12 months from date of initiation of study (December 2020)

Children and adults having anti-HAV antibody positive with reference to various socioeconomic status like lower, upper lower, lower middle, upper middle and upper class.Timepoint: 12 months from study initiation (December 2020);IgG anti-HAV positivity differences among urban and rural population in India.Timepoint: 12 months from study initiation (December 2020)
