Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Human volunteers Cadavers were included for cadaveric part of the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Volunteers or cadavers having visible deformity, any pathology or previous surgery on lower limbs will be excluded

To define the average distance from a constant reference point at the mid-point of inguinal ligament to the point where saphenous nerve and nerve to vastus medialis will be in close approximation in adductor canal for a single needle insertion.Timepoint: At the time of doing the ultrasound in volunteers

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Thigh length (AP) from mid-point of inguinal ligament (A) to the superior border of patella (P). Midpoint of thigh (M) will be center of AP. Length from mid-point of inguinal ligament to the midpoint of thigh (AM) Length (AX) from mid-point of inguinal ligament (A) to beginning of adductor canal (X) Length (AY) from mid-point of inguinal ligament (A) to the end of adductor canal (Y) Adductor canal length (XY) Point Z will be the point where the NVM and SN are in close proximity Timepoint: At the time of scanning the lower limb using ultrasound and doing anatomical dissection in a cadaver
