Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients in the age group 18 to 65 years. 2) ASA 1 and 2. 3) Pre operative Nuricks grade 1,2 and 3

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) ASA 3 and above . 2) Known allergy to study drugs. 3) History of renal disease; Serum creatinine >1.5mg/dl 4) History of liver disease. 5) Preoperative history of seizures. 6) Psychiatric illness 7) Heart block 8) Patient refusal

Ability to record MEP Need for rescue treatment to elicit MEP Hemodynamics â?? Heart rate and mean arterial pressure measured every 15 minutes . Timepoint: every 15 minutes intra operatively .

a. Recovery Profile â??Time to extubation, Sedation Score ,Time to discharge readiness. b. Number of adverse events â?? hypotension, hypertension , bradycardia and awareness c. Post operative pain and requirement of opioids Timepoint: First 24 hours post operatively
