Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients With Squamous Cell Carcinoma of upper aero digestive tract. 2.Patients who would undergo surgery followed by adjuvant therapy/ radical radiation therapy/ chemo radiation. 3.Treatment naïve patients. 4.Patients who are willing to take entire treatment from our centre.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with Nasopharyngeal Carcinomas. 2.Patients who are unable to give proper information regarding the expenditure involved. 3.Patients less than 18yrs of age. 4.Patients who do not have family or social support. 5.Patients not consenting to participate in the trial.

1.Direct-Cost a.Cost involved in initial diagnosis b.Cost involved in investigations and treatment, in supportive care, consultations and drugs from other hospital while on treatment, for Nutritional supplements 2.Indirect Costs : For Transport, Accommodation, Food, Loss of wages(patients & care givers) 3.Others Selling of property, Taking loan, Children stopping education and going for job Timepoint: once in a fortnight, till treatment completion
