Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Undergoing fixed orthodontic treatment and in retraction phase after extraction of upper first premolars, Healthy periodontal conditions & Fair-OHI-S score(1.3-3.0) and Mixed diet.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients under any medication. History of gastrointestinal disease. Previous medical treatment that could interfere with orthodontic tooth movement. Malnourished & Immunocompromised patients. Previous history of orthodontic treatment.
