Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: cases fulfilling the diagnostic criteria for alcohol dependence including the A1 criteria according to ICD 10 diagnostic criteria for research cases willing to give consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: cases with life threatening conditions cases with co-morbid psychiatric conditions pregnant and lactating females
