Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.ASA grading 1 and 2 . 2.BMI 3.Patients undergoing elective surgeries of 1-3 hours duration under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Preexisting neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. 2.Preexisting cardiovascular diseases. 3.Conditions interfering with gastric emptying. 4.Asthma or reactive airway diseases. 5.Known liver and kidney diseases. 6.Previous history suggestive of OSA. 7.Patients on opioids, with drug or alcohol abuse 8.Contraindication or previous adverse response to any of the study drugs.
