Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All the eligible elderly population, aged 60 years and above, from urban field practice area of JIPMER, Pondicherry will be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Baseline Assessment: For the intervention component we will exclude elderly individuals with cognitive status impairment, severe depression (GDS values 6 and above), severely compromised activities of daily living (Barthel index score below 15) and who have severe incapacitating, life-threatening or terminal illness.
