Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients willing to participate. 2. Patients with normal liver function tests(LFT). 3. Patients with normal routine coagulation tests (RCT). 4. Patients undergoing valvular heart surgeries.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patientâ??s refusal to participate. 2. Patients with deranged routine coagulation tests (RCT). 3. Patients with deranged liver function tests (LFT). 4. Patients on anticoagulants. 5. Patients with heart failure( HF).

1.Blood loss in perioperative period in recruited patients. 2.Use of blood products in these patients in perioperative period. 3.Duration of supported ventilation and ICU stay. Timepoint: 12 hourly from the end of surgery till the patients discharge
