Intervention1: Arjun-Jatamansyadi Churna: Contents: Arjun, Jatamansi, Gokshur, Haritaki, Manishtha (All 2 gm each) 5 gm BD for 3 Months Control Intervention1: Tab. Telmisartan: 40 mg OD for 3 Months

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Stage I Hypertension (Systolic Blood Pressur is 140 to 159 mm of Hg and Diastolic Blood Pressure is 90 to 99 mm of Hg)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary Hypertension 2. Patients having history of Acute Coronary Syndrome, Cardiomyopathies, Myocardial Infarction, Stroke, IHD, CHD, CAD. Co-arctation of Aorta 3. Pregnant, Lactating Women and Who is under Estrogen replacement Therapy 4. Alcohol and Drug Abusers 5. Accelerated and Malignant Hypertension 6. Complicated Multiple Organ Failure 7. Nephropathy, Encephalopathy, Endocrine Disorders 8. Mentally Ill Patients 9. Metabolic Syndrome
