Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18-65 years 2. Both sexes 3. Indian Diabetic Risk Score (IDRS) � 60 .47 4. Impaired glucose regulation, i.e. fasting plasma glucose concentration of 100-125 mg/dL (impaired fasting glucose; IFG); and/or two hrs. post 75 gm glucose load plasma glucose value of 140-199 mg/dL (impaired glucose tolerance; IGT) 5. Written consent to participate 6. Literate patients; ability to read Bengali

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Too unwell to take part. 2. Patients with psychiatric diseases. 3. Cases suffering from uncontrolled systemic illness, life-threatening infections or any vital organ failure 4. Cases already undergoing homeopathic treatment for any chronic disease 5. Self-reported immune-compromised states 6. Pregnant women or lactating mother 7. Substance abuse and/or dependence
