Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -no recent antibiotic therapy within 4 weeks -non smokers -subjects with gingivitis defined as mean gingival index >1.3 -patient with 3-4 mm attachment loss and 5-8 mm pocket in atleast 30% sites examined

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - patients using any other comercially available mouthrinse,probiotic products,or any other oral hygiene aids other than routine teeth brushing -subjects taking medications that could interfere with gingival tissue response. -subjects currently undergoing orthodontic treatment -systemic disease or conditions which may affect the response of gingival tissies or the ability to perform adequate plaque contro
