Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Female patient scheduled for elective abdominal hysterectomy under general anaesthesia aged between 18-60 years and belonging to ASA class 1 and 2.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any history of cardiovascular, renal, hepatic, neuronal, endocrinal disases/ patient on any drug affecting cardiovascular parameters.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Comparison of postoperative pain scoreTimepoint: Pain will be assessed and recorded after surgery, every hour for six hours, then every 3 hour for next 12 hours and at the end of 24th hour.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Comparison of postoperative requirement of rescue analgesic in two groups. 2. Comparison of haemodyanamic parameters in two groups. Timepoint: Till 24 hours after surgery
