Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.simple otalgia 2.Irrespective of caste, religion, sex, economic, social, educational status etc. 3.Subjects fulfilling the diagnostic criteria which are based on signs and 4.symptoms of simple otalgia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Referred otalgia 2.Subjects suffering from suppurative otitis media. 3.Karnashoola due to abhighata (injury). 4.Perforated ear drum. 5.Otalgia associated with other diseases like vascular tumour of middle ear, aneurysms of carotid artery, palatal myoclonus,meningitisetc 6.Other systemic disorders like hypertension etc 7.Pregnant and lactating women 8.Patients suffering from any chronic debilitating disease like CA, Kochâ??s, HIV etc
