Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients 18-45 years, scheduled for LSCS procedures under spinal anaesthesia belonging to ASA Grade I and Grade II will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Parturients with gestational age 2. High risk pregnancy 3. Known Hypertension 4. Preexisting cardiac or pulmonary disease 5. Any other contraindication of spinal anaesthesia 6. ASA physical status III and IV

7.5 mg of injection Ephedrine will be a more effective optimal intravenous prophylactic dose than other bolus doses and equal volume of normal saline that is to be administered to LSCS patients soon after spinal anaesthesia to avoid spinal induced hypotension.Timepoint: 1 Incidence of hypotension

MeasureTime frame
1. 7.5mg of IV Ephedrine will bring a better haemodynamic stability. There will be no significant differences in baseline HR and systolic BP with 7.5mg iv bolus ephedrine in comparison to other study groups. 2. There will be no significant differences in sensory block height with 7.5mg iv bolus ephedrine 3.
