Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American Society of Anaesthesiologists- Grade I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with baseline hemodynamic instabilities(Heart Rate 2. Tracheostomized patients 3. Allergy to Dexemedetomidine 4. Co-existing cardiac, hepatic and renal dysfunctions 5. History of cerebro-vascular accidents

To compare the effect of two dosages of Dexmedetomidine infusion (0.5mcg/kg/hr vs 0.7mcg/kg/hr) on mean arterial pressures in patients undergoing microlaryngeal surgeriesTimepoint: 1. At 0 min(loading dose) 2. At 5 mins after loading dose 3. At 10 mins after loading dose 4. At start of Dexmedetomidine infusion 5. At the time of induction with Propofol 6. Every 1min till 5 mins after intubation 7. At introduction of suspension laryngoscopy 8. 1 min after microlaryngoscopy 9. 5mins after microlaryngoscopy 10. Every 5 mins thereafter till the end of surgery 11. At extubation
