Intervention1: transdermal opiod fentanyl patch: Dose-25mcg/75mcg/100 mcg every 72 hourly as a transdermal patch Control Intervention1: parenteral opiod: dose-50mg every 4-6 hourly

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: isolated thoracic trauma patients

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: polytrauma patients patients with deranged ABG pregnanacy non consenting
