Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients belonging to ASA I and II Patients with essential hypertension started on antihypertensive medications Patients should have taken the drug on the day of surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA III and IV Pregnancy Patients who refuse to participate

MeasureTime frame
To study the intraoperative haemodynamic parameters after subarachnoid block in hypertensive patients as compared to normotensive patientsTimepoint: 0,3,6,9 and every 15 mins till the end of procedure.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To find out the average use of intravenous fluids and rescue medications within first 30 mins.Timepoint: 0,3,6,9 and every 15 mins till the end of procedure.
