Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA physical status I & II 2. Mallampatti 1 & 2 3. Patients posted for elective PCNL surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients refusal 2. Emergency surgery 3. Anticipated difficult intubation 4. Patients with ASA grade III or higher 5. Known allergy 6. Hypertensive reaction to dexmedetomidine 7. Severe decompensated cardiopulmonary and renal status 8. Bleeding diathesis
