Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients 20-70 years of age, of either sex. 2.ASA grade I,II, III 3.Elective surgeries under GA 4.General and gynecological surgeries 5.Duration of surgery upto 1-3hr

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Age 70 years 2.ASA grade IV and V, Emergency surgeries 3.Thoracic/Cardiac/Obstetric/Orthopedic/Neurosurgery/Eye and ENT surgeries 4.Local / regional anesthesia alone 5.Duration of surgery >3 hr 6. Patients requiring postoperative respiratory support
