Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients between 18-60 years of either sex Lumpy and hard stool Straining Sansation of incomplete evacuation and anorectic obstruction Manual maneuvers to facilitate defecation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who is taking tikshna virechana since long time Known case of patients with a history og abdominal or anorectal surgry in the pat one year Known case of structural abnormalities of gastro-instinal tract Uncontrolled systemic ailment and Neurological problems Pregnant and lactating women

Prescribed diet chart may help to manage constipation (vibandha). Improvement in the following symptoms weekly frequency of bowel movements, stool form, straining during defecation, sensation of incomplete bowel evacuation, weekly manual maneuvers requiredTimepoint: 28th days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in associated symptoms acidity,flatulence,headache,nausea,abdominal fullness, low backache,colic pain, bleaching, bloating etc, Quality of life may become better.Timepoint: 28th days
