Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Female patients aged 30-65 years, 2.ASA grade I & II 3.Patients undergoing elective Robotic Abdominal Hysterectomy under general anaesthesia will be selected

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.ASA grade III & IV patients 2.Age >65 years 3.BMI >35kg/m2 4.Allergy to local anaesthetic agents 5.History of use of opioid, analgesics and psychotropic drugs and beta blockers, substance abuse preoperatively 6.Uncontrolled hypertension, A-V conduction block, history of sleep apnoea

To assess post operative pain as measured by VASTimepoint: 4 hours after surgery

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1.Time to first bowel sounds and flatus 2.Intraoperative consumption of propofol, fentanyl and vecuronium 3.Postoperative fentanyl requirement 4.QoR15 score on day 1,2 and on day of dischargeTimepoint: DAY 0,1,2 AND ON THE DAY OF DISCHARGE
