Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are planned to undergo intravenous cannulation. Patients falling in age group of 18-60 years. Patients willingly signing the written consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not signing the consent form. Patients having history of cold stress. Patients suffering from any developmental delay. Patients with low GCS score >10. Patients having known allergy from ethyl chloride or any anesthetic cream and placebo. Patient suffering from skin conditions.
