Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Paediatric oncology patients aged 3-14 years receiving strongly myelosuppressive chemotherapy 2. Taking more than 50 % caloric intake per orally at time of inclusion in the study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients unwilling to give consent 2. Patients receiving myeloablative chemotherapy in preparation for allogeneic or autologous bone marrow or stem cell transplant. 3. Co-morbidity with immunosuppressive disease such as AIDS. 4. Patients with documented infection at time of enrolment. 5. Patients who are not fed orally (G-tube dependant, TPN-dependant) at time of enrolment 6. Patients actively receiving radiation
