Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: American society of anaesthesiologist physically status 1 & 2 patients posted for lower thoracic or lumbar spine surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, significant cardiac arrhythmia causing hemodynamic instability, hypertensive patients on ACE inhibitors
