Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Both unipolar and bipolar depression of age 18 to 65 who meet ICD-10 criteria for severe depression (with or without psychotic symptoms) is to be taken in study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who have other diagnosed co-morbid psychiatric illness, other diagnosed chronic medical or neurological illness, fulfill criteria for substance dependence according to ICD-10 (Except nicotine) in past one month, Pregnant and post-partum female
