Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children age 2 to 8 years of age of ASA status I AND II undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Any congenital heart disease, history of seizure disorder , allergic to study drugs, jaundice and difficult airway

Correlation between objective and subjective method in monitoring the depth of anaesthesiaTimepoint: Baseline reading ,After induction with thiopentone induction agent , at one minute after placing airway device , at three minutes after placing airway device and at five minutes after placing airway device
