Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Snehya Fit for snehabasti. Subjects advised to undergo snehanakarma as a poorvakarma for vamana or virechana diagnosed with kitibha kushta. Subjects who are willing to participate and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Subjects with history of internal haemorrhoids, fissure, fistula. Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus & hypertension Diagnosed cases of systemic disorders like chronic heart disease, chronic renal failure and chronic liver disease which may interfere with the course of the treatment. History of HIV, HBsAg, Carcinoma and Tuberculosis

| The duration of treatment will be a maximum of 3+7 days, wherein 3 days will be given for deepana followed by Snehana Karma until achievement of samyak snigdha lakshanas or 7 days whichever is earlier. | â?¢ The sneha jeerya manalakshanas and jeerna lakshanas will be assessed to estimate the quality of the experienced symptoms, since during achhapana sneha comes in contact with the jatharagni while in case of pravicharana ghrita basti it is the shoshyamana vahni which comes into action.
