Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Male and female patients >=18 years of age 2. Patients with duration of DM for at least 5 years 3. Patients willing to participate in the study by signing the Patient Authorization Form (PAF)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with known gastrointestinal conditions such as known/documented chronic pancreatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohnâ??s disease etc. or other known causes of PEI 2. Patients already taking treatment with pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT) 3. Any condition that in the opinion of the investigator does not justify the patientâ??s inclusion in the study
