Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with mild bleeding on probing 2.Subjects who had not received any periodontal therapy for the past 6 months 3.Individuals with informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals with probing depths >4 mm 2.Subjects undergoing orthodontic treatment, 3.Patients wearing a removable prosthesis, 4.Patients with a history of systemic disease, or had taken any systemic/topical antibiotics during the past 3 months 5.Patients who were currently using any mouthwash or have used mouthwash in past 15 days 6.Smokers, alcoholics and individuals with a history of allergy to any chemical or herbal product
