Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Mild to Moderate cases of Depression 2. Ages 18-60 years 3. Both sexes 4. Initial score 8-18 on Ham-D

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1. Active drug or alcohol abuse 2. Bipolar disorder, schizophrenia 3. Patient taking any other antidepressant drug 4. Patients with suicidal tendency 5. Pregnant and lactating mother 6. Patients with Diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, Renal insufficiency, any other major acute or chronic illness 7. Patients with terminal medical conditions such as AIDS, Cancer etc.
