Health Condition 1: I10- Essential (primary) hypertension

Intervention1: Shirodhara: Shirodhara â?? oil dripping on the forehead in a steady stream Dose- 6 liter Frequency-The Shirodhara therapy will be given for 6 days in a week for two consecutive weeks.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: In prehypertension as per the JNC VIII criteria (SBP between 120-139 mmHg and Diastolic between 80 -89 mmHg)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant women Subjects reporting with history of CVD, respiratory, renal, gastrointestinal and liver diseases. (based on history & examination) Having a significant neurological disturbance, psychiatric problem Uncontrolled DM (by HBA1C)
