Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.All patients with diagnosis of sepsis. 2. Patients who will stay in ICU for minimum of 72 hours. 3. Patients who were taking calcium channel blockers or beta blockers prior to admission

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients or Relatives refusal to give consent. 2.Hemo-dynamically unstable patients. 3.Patients requiring inotropic support(noradrenaline) for hypotension in a dose of more than or equal to 0.1 mcg/kg/min during ICU stay. 4. Age 65 yrs. 5. Patient with septic shock. 6. Previously diagnosed case of sepsis referred from some other centre
