Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status I to II 2. Modified Mallampati ( Samsoon and Young ) Airway class I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Emergency surgeries 2. Risk of aspiration ( non fasted , severe gastro - oesophageal disease , hiatal hernia ) 3. Known or presumed difficult airways ( BMI > 35kg / m2, Modified Mallampati Airway > class III , Thyromental distance 4. Known difficult mask ventilation, difficult laryngoscopy/ scheduled for awake tracheal intubation 5. Refusal by the patient for the procedure
