Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Incidence and severity of Malnutrition among patients with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of head and neck. Overall tolerance, compliance and response to treatment based on the above variables will be measured.Timepoint: Before start of treatment, 1 month after start of treatment, 3 months after start of treatment and at end of treatment

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To identify any difference in overall deterioration in nutritional status following treatment between patients who were well-nourished and malnourished prior to start of treatment.Timepoint: Pre treatment, 1 month post treatment initiation, 3 months post treatment initiation and at end of complete treatment; To identify if disease-outcomes (loco-regional control, disease free survival and overall survival) are impacted by the baseline nutritional status of the patient Timepoint: Pre treatment, 1 month post treatment initiation, 3 months post treatment initiation and at end of complete treatment
