Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. CKD with eGFR > 14 ml/min/1.73m2 with any degree of albuminuria. We will stratify enrollment, aiming at-least 30% in each stage 2,3&4 CKD.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age 65 years 2. Uncontrolled diabetes 3. uncontrolled hypertension 4. malignancy. 5. Unstable renal course or AKI in last three months 6. History recurrent UTI 7. Obstructive uropathy or structural disease of kidney or renal tract 8. History of analgesics abuse, alternative medication and nephrotoxic agents in past 3 months. 9. Cardiac and liver dysfunction 10. Kidney transplant recipients.
